I've been meaning to post on my favourite books and magazine of 2011. My favourite novel was one of the last I read; Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman. It's a debut novel and made it onto the Booker shortlist. It is sad, sweet, funny, believable and, well, all round wonderful. For what it's worth I think it is much better than the Julian Barnes book that won, and just a tad better than The Stranger's Child, which was also on the shortlist and also sensational.

My Favourite Novel Of 2011.
I've been meaning to post on my favourite books and magazine of 2011. My favourite novel was one of the last I read; Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman.
